iMiEV to start operation

Post Date : 05-13-2009

Mitsubishi has sent its iMiEV car in Hong Kong. The iMiEV car underwent full inspection at Sime Darby new service center for government departments to test-drive.

Mitsubishi promoted its iMiEV to the public on 12 May 2009. Financial Secretary John Tsang Chun-wah hailed the move to instill a green mindset among motorists. Hong Kong will be the first territory, after Japan, to give a trial on this new type vehicle.

The iMiEV could help to alleviate the air pollution problem and the government will have a six-month trail for testing the effectiveness and efficiency of the car.
